We’ve had Scott Richards and his able team complete two projects: master bedroom closet and kitchen over the course of the past two years. In both instances we were combining spaces, tearing down walls, adapting existing space to suit our needs.
While we could spend an hour telling you how well they did and how pleased we are, we’ll sum it up in two thoughts: outstanding work and the highest professional integrity.
From the design phase (“we want this – no, we want that – no, better go back to the original”) to the details (“this hinge or that, how about USB outlets”), to the clean up (“everything put back the way it was and the house cleaned”), everything they do is top notch.
Can’t imagine having anyone else do our work. And we’re not finished!

FYI: This circuit away from home has been the most challenging that I have experienced. In addition, I return Wednesday night to a semi-wreck of a home with family coming, brother and sister in- law staying overnight with their young lab for Whitley’s birthday party next Saturday. Not to mention 3 grand nieces between 8 months and 4 plus years with parents that will think the house is ?….for little hands and feet. (With the new electronics, if there is a sport event, they will ignore everything negative.) Whitley thinks my family found me under a rock.
Scott, Your time, expertise, and design are what we value. Don’t know the proper terminology to say include it as an over-ride in the cost of the project…just do it.

Now that we’ve had time to “settle in” to our new kitchen/sunroom we did want to express our appreciation to you entire staff. Don helped make all the space come into its own “being” and was so helpful when we were overwhelmed with choices. Mary Jane and I have been involved, as a customer, in home construction quite a few times. As a result, we realized that the repair and improvements which we anticipated making to our home at the Landings would be quite challenging. Many of the items were small in nature with the largest being the conversion of a screened porch into a garden room. Since we ad been living abroad for several years, we realized the biggest headache that lay ahead was in knowing what firm to call for all the diverse tasks that were ahead. (there were better than 25.)
